Police said that the trial rooms had a common partition wall, and the accused allegedly tried to record the girl through a small hole at the bottom.

Based on the complaint by the girl, an FIR was filed against the man, identified as Ravi Suresh Prajapati. He was booked under various Sections of the Information Technology Act, POCSO Act and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The accused was detained and later placed under arrest by Vastrapur police. The case was subsequently handed over to the SC/ST Cell.

“According to the complaint, there were videos of at least three other women on the phone. The phone has been seized and sent to FSL for verification,” said ACP Solanki.
