Bobby Deol has always spoken openly about the deep love and admiration he holds for his elder brother, Sunny Deol.<\/a><\/strong> He often refers to Sunny not just as a brother, but as a second father figure in his life. In a recent conversation with Radio Nasha Official, Bobby opened up about a difficult moment from the early days of his career, during the shoot of his debut film Barsaat, when he suffered a serious leg injury. He recalled that it was Sunny who quite literally carried him through the crisis.<\/p><\/ev-engagement><\/ev-engagement>

\u201cI still remember, my leg broke in England during the shoot. I was riding a horse, bumped into another horse, lost balance, falling hard to the ground. I saw that one of my legs was completely twisted. I tried to stand but collapsed again. Bhaiya (Sunny) was there, he lifted me onto his shoulders and carried me. All my strength came from him. Just knowing he was there made me feel like nothing bad could happen,\u201d he shared. Bobby went on to explain how Sunny rushed him to a small local hospital that night, and when things got worse, he arranged for an emergency airlift to London.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe took me to the nearest hospital, but later I found out that the doctors there had said, \u2018We can’t save his leg.\u2019 That\u2019s when Bhaiya got me airlifted to London overnight. I had surgery there. He\u2019s always been there for me.\u201d Reflecting on the injury and its long-term impact, Bobby added: \u201cIt\u2019s been more than 30 years now. I still have a rod and screws in my leg, and while there\u2019s some discomfort and pain, I\u2019ve gotten used to it. But I can walk, run, dance, fight, jump, do action, what more does one need?\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Bobby has spoken about his brother\u2019s strength and support. On an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show last year, Bobby praised Sunny\u2019s physical and emotional strength<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cIf there\u2019s someone in real life who\u2019s truly like Superman, it\u2019s Bhaiya. I\u2019ve never seen anyone stronger. Even after undergoing multiple back surgeries, when he\u2019s required to lift someone on set, he does it effortlessly, as if they weigh nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bobby Deol was recently seen in The Ba***ds of Bollywood on Netflix. Up next, he will star in Anurag Kashyap\u2019s Bandar, and Alpha, the next installment in YRF\u2019s spy universe, alongside Alia Bhatt<\/a> and Sharvari.
